Pleasently surprised, and scared out of my mind.

I was gonna play at Marley's last night, but i walked in and there were 200 people there. Now, just playing guitar, that would have been great, but i was gonna have to sing, and in front of that many people, that should be illegal. However, i really liked the bar. It was so diverse. It wasnt all HARDROCK kids or anything, there were all walks there. It was very cool.

Today i've just worked and wasted a whole lot of time watchin the simpsons--not a bad way to spend the day.

I GET TO SEE MY APRIL TOMARROW!!! MMMMM APRIL! haha.
I also get to see woody tomarrow for the first time in forever! Stupid camp. aha.

Been a long time since i rock and rolled.

Well, lets see. Life. hmmm.
Woody isnt working at House of Faz again until July because of his job at the scout camp. So seeing or hearing from him this month is a bit seldom, but it's alright. I know he loves being out there, even though this week he's been really down and out, and i hate that. He'll feel better thought. I busted him out last night and took him to see his dog who we're both inlove with. I generally dont like dogs, i dont know why. ANYWHO, we went to see her and listened to Elton John. Then we went to get some ice cream, and i took him back to the camp.
I was gonna play open mic night, but of coarse, monkey bar booked osme shitty local band, and canceled it with no warning.
Oh, i'm dropping the teen night for sure. Whittney, Evan, and I were working on a teen night for the monkey bar, it was kindof a big deal for me, because it was some sortof foot in the door for what i would really like to do. Well, basically, the bar owner is a lying asshole that i dont want anything to do with. He said he was just SO EXCITED about the teen night, he was gonna take care of the hip hop club on the 3rd floor, blah blah blah, he'd book the bands we wanted, and nothing has been done. Infact, the first one was suppose to be last night, but it was more important to pay probabley a few thousand dollars to have less than 100 people show up to see a band that, i dunno, they had a really cool energy, but man, the sounds that they were making were a bit unbearable. Anyway--i'm super duper done with worrying about it. We went to film something to put on the HHS news to promote it, we put OUR money into the flyers because he refused to talk money with is, and i ran what was basically a free ad in my school's newspaper, all to have him book right over top of us, so fuck it.
On a much cooler note, i bought guitar hero for the new house today. I had never played, but i knew how much Whit and Natalie liked it. We went to whittney's to play tonight because didnt know how to unhook my TV without messing with the cabel in the house, so i decided to jsut wait to move all that into the new house. We played FOREVER, and it was awesome. What an awesome waste of time, but hey, i loved every second of it.
Work is going really well. I am working full time now, so it's all good. I cant wait to see my first pay check that breaks 150 bucks!! hahah. We hired a guy named Jason who's really cool. He's hilarious, and probabley one of the most fun people to mess with ever. Natalie and i keep throwing his drinks away all day, and he complains forever, then we write his names on a bunch of cups and fill them up and put them in the weirdest places and say JASON!!! WE FOUND YOUR DRINKS DUMBASS!
Also, one of whittney's friends, Gopher, is gonna start working with us. He's hilarious too. I've hung out with him a few times and he seems like he'll fit in with everyone really well.
If i can wake up tomarrow, Natalie and I are going to see Pirates of the Caribean 2. You know, i cant find jonny depp attractive until he dresses like a pirate and bases his charater on Keith Richards. I'm a weird kid a guess.

Oh and one more thing--FUCK YOU JAMES BLUNT! STAND UP TO YOUR RECORD LABEL.

Open Mic Night

Last night was incredible. I played my first open mic night...i sucked terribly, but everyone around me was drunk as hell, so they didnt care. I played 3 orginals, Drops of Jupiter, and one by Steve Lynch. I dont sing, but i did last night...whittney also got up there with me, but god, i just really dont sing. I need to find someone to sing for me.
It was really fun tho, and i intend to practice and play next week. I really had a great time, and i cant wait to do better job.

Graduations

I went to my graduation on Saturday, and it was really cool.
Then, afterwards, turned around and went to Woody's graduation. Evan and i screamed at the top of our lungs for him, and i was really more excited to see him go across the stage than i was for me to do it.

I'll write more later when it isnt 6 in the damn morning.

40 bucks RICHER

So, i was getting ready for work when i started thinking about my nosering. I really liked it, and i spent the money and indured the pain, and DAMNIT, i wanted it. It wasnt a have- to thing, but is thought i would give it one last try. I just pretended like it was my ears and repierced it the way i always do. Just jabbin. Brian would absolutley shit if he knew i even took it out, and he would have a colonic if he knew i repierced the thing. Aw well, I'LL NEVER TELL! I just wont go in there for the next 6 weeks. I am getting one more tattoo. And having gone to england, it's up in the air as to what it is going to be. My friend Erika designed this REALLY cool one that just says ZAPPA. and i think that would be awesome because Zappa is one of my biggest heros, not only for his supreme musical talent, but his belief in saying exactly what he felt with no regard or apology. His politcal views also really influence the way i look at things. He's just so honest. And what i admire in any person isnt their fame, lifestyle, or their money, really i admire the people who had the attention of the world and used it to say exactly what they meant. Those are musical heros to me.
The other tattoo is John Lennon. It's his face with his hair coming out at the bottom like the sun. It's really cool looking and hard to explain. I love lennon. The new house is already going to be covered with him. But i really liked this idea as a tattoo. I admire lennon for some of the same reasons as Zappa, different ones too. I think that to pioneer such an amazing time and feeling is more than anyone can ignor.
But i actually admire Zappa more than Lennon when i think about. John definatley did some drugs, and you know, i know it was the time and it was socially acceptable. But Zappa never did drugs, and rarley drank, however did smoke like a fraight train. A couple of really good friends of mine are hooked on drugs, and they are both such shining examples of why you should never go near them. I admire people with the willpower to make such creative music and have such an oddness to them without having to enhance it with something.
Writing this helped me pick my tattoo. THANKS XANGA...i'm goin' with Zappa.
